DBT Adherence.

I have completed intensive training in DBT adherence coding and demonstrated fidelity to expert coders on the DBT Adherence Checklist for Individual Therapy (DBT AC-I). I served as an adherence coder for a multisite clinical trial and provided feedback for therapists offering comprehensive DBT, DBT Prolonged Exposure (DBT PE), and standard Prolonged Exposure therapy.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Group for Therapists.

One thing I deeply appreciate about DBT is the principle that “treatment is a relationship between equals.” As therapists, one way to embody this principle is to commit to practicing the same principles and skills we teach our clients.

If this resonates with you, then our new DBT Skills Group for Therapists may be of interst! This group supports therapists in putting DBT skills into practice in their daily lives and their professional practice. It is a 6-month commitment and covers all 4 core skills modules. This group emphasizes experiential learning and is best suited as a way to build on foundational training or coursework in DBT.

Please note, this is a educational offering. For information on DBT clinical services or foundational training, check out my linked resource pages!

Trainings & Seminars

One of my favorite things to do is support clinicians, students, and community members is learning more about mental health and evidence-based practices.

Is your clinic, team, or organized interested in learning more about topics related to DBT, trauma, anxiety/OCD, and reproductive mental health? I’d love to help and can offer tailored, on demand trainings or seminars.

  • I have completed intensive training in DBT and care deeply about expanding access to this life-changing treatment. I have taught seminars to orient providers to DBT and DBT Prolonged Exposure (DBT PE), and training in DBT skills.

  • I am passionate about reproductive health. I value disseminating evidence-based information about the presentation and treatment of mental health in reproductive contexts, like the perinatal period. I have been particularly involved in research and clinical work in reproductive trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, and OCD.

  • Trauma exposure is prevalent with PTSD estimated to impact at least 13 million adults in the US each year. I am passionate about expanding the reach of trauma-informed care and science-backed treatments for PTSD by offering training for therapists, healthcare providers, and community members.

  • Anxiety disorders are the most prevalent mental health condition, affecting over 300 million people worldwide. I have completed intensive training in the presentation and treatment of anxiety disorders & OCD, and value contributing to research and educational activities in this area.
