  • Comprehensive DBT is an evidence-based treatment for clients with high-risk, complex, and emotion-related problems. Adaptations of this treatment (e.g., DBT Skills) can also highly effective for a wide range of clinical populations and settings. Importantly, trauma-related problems are incredibly common among DBT clients and these individual often face substantial barriers to trauma treatment. The DBT Prolonged Exposure Protocol (DBT PE) provides an evidence-based framework for treating the impact of trauma and traumatic invalidation in this context.

I have seen DBT and DBT PE save and change lives, and am passionate about expanding the reach of these highly effective treatments. I offer trainings in relevant topics for individuals, clinicians, and organizations learn about DBT. This includes introductory seminars on DBT and DBT PE, continuing education (CE) courses, and tailored trainings.

I greatly enjoy working with clinicians looking to strengthen their skills, competence, and adherence in DBT and also provide consultation in this area (learn more here).

  • Reproductive mental health is a specialized area of clinical psychology that focuses on how reproductive events interact with mental health across the lifespan. This includes a wide range of mental health symptoms and concerns, as well as reproductive experiences related to:

    • Preconception, such as fertility/infertility, family planning, adoption, egg freezing

    • Perinatal period, such as pregnancy, postpartum, the transition to parenthood, perinatal/infant loss

    • Menstrual health, including premenstrual mood disorders (PME/PMDD) and perimenopause

    • Reproductive healthcare, such as medical invalidation and chronic health conditions (e.g., PCOS, endometriosis)

As a specialist in this area, I provide trainings and seminars on these topics. I have particular expertise working with trauma/PTSD, grief, anxiety, stress, and OCD in these contexts, and enjoy working with clinicians and teams to extend their knowledge in reproductive mental health.

  • Trauma exposure is prevalent with PTSD estimated to impact at least 13 million adults in the US each year. Yet, research suggests the minority of clients receive any treatment and evidence-based treatments are highly underutilized.

I am passionate about helping clients access compassionate, trauma-informed care and effective, science-backed treatments for PTSD. As part of this goal, I provide trainings and seminars for clinicians, healthcare teams, and community organizations in topics related to trauma and PTSD.

  • Anxiety disorders are considered the most prevalent mental health condition, affecting over 300 million people worldwide. While highly effective treatments for anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) are available, they are often underutilized in routine clinical settings. One of the key barriers is clinician training; support is needed to help clinicians identify and intervene effectively.

I have expertise in anxiety and OCD, including its presentation in reproductive contexts (e.g., pregnancy/postpartum). I provide training and seminars in relevant topics, and am working to launch a digital OCD Foundational course with colleagues in 2027.
